Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Kallubalu

On 7/10/2024 Tumakur Dasara committee invited our Vidyalaya Mallakamba team to the exhibition.  31 Students, 5 ex VKV Students with two Teachers attended our student's performance was appreciable by everyone.

 Science Exhibition  Experiential science festival, Curiously culture was conducted in our vidyalaya by Skucraft.   Two days workshop was conducted on 12th and 13th September and exhibition was conducted on 14th and 16th September. The students from different schools like Prism academy, Global academy, League global,Deeksha STEM and GHPS Haragadde were visited in our vidyalaya to see science exhibition. Science kits were distributed to the students from class 5 to class 9. Total visitors -209 students and 13 teachers.

*Universal Brotherhood Day* was celebrated in our vidyalaya on Wednesday,11/09/24. Students performed drama on  'Vedantave Vishwabhratrutva'. There was another drama on how Buddha's brotherhood transformed a murderer Angulimala into a monk. The chief guest Sri Ravi ML ji adviced the students about the 3-Ds dedication, determination and discipline. He also adviced the teachers to teach the rich history of Bharata.  Total attended - 340

Shri Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated in our vidyalaya on Monday,26/08/24. On this occasion kids had performed many cultural activities, showing the life stories from Lord Krishna's life. Life lesson speech was delivered by our chief guest Aa. Sadhvi Madhubala, Mentor at Sahasra Deepika International for Education, with a beautiful story of Shri Lord Krishna from his childhood's life with connection of butter pot and bell, which made us to understand that- the job given by someone should be done in proper way. As a tradition a possession was done from school to nearby temple of Kallubalu. Number  attended :- (25 Parents and 336 Students) Dhanyawad 🙏

 National Space Day Celebration  *National Space Day was celebrated in our vidyalaya on 23/8/24. *Students presented vigyan geet, importance of   Space day celebration,skit on space technology and monoacting of Chandrayaan-3. *Total attendance - 322.

  The Raksha Bandhan was celebrated on Monday,19th August 2024 with zeal and joy by all.  All the lady teachers did Arathi to Lord Krishna and took his blessings.  Our Chief guest Aa. Venakataraya sir blessed everyone with his inspirational speech on Raksha bandhan. He spoke about Raksha Bandhan underlines the notion that everybody should live in harmony and hence speaks about the rich culture and traditions of India that make our nation extraordinary.:  To commemorate this festival, a Rakhi making competition was held for the students. Students made beautiful RAKHIS using colourful household materials, Total Attendees :322

 Independence day Celebrated in our vidyalaya on 15th August 2024. * Chief guest for the program was Smt Anuradha didi,Guest of honour were Sri Venkatesh sir and Sri B R Nagraj sir  *Aadarniya Smt . Anuradha didi addressed about the sacrifices of our brave soldiers and the importance of protecting our nation. * To Motivate &  Encourage the students to join in army in future a small exhibition of  few belongings of Veer Shourya Captain MV Pranjal - his Uniform, Momentos, and Trophies, those  he had achieved during his lifetime, has also been displayed. *Guest of honour Sri B R Nagaraj sir spoke few about the significance of Independence day also sir mentioned about the relationship with VKV Kallubalu.  *A heart touching drama of veeraputra Captain Pranjal was performed by VKV students.An essay competition prizes   were distributed from Smt Anuradha didi and Sri Venkatesh sir. Total spectators for the program : 407( students : 257  parents : 150)

 Kishori Vikas Shibir was conducted in our vidyalaya from 14/7/24 to 20/7/24. Sessions covered- Shreyas and Preyas, Soundarya,Maithri and Prema,how to build life,health, Kishori protection, Kishori Protection,etc..  Resource persons - Padmarekha didi,Padma didi , Rajashri didi, Vijayalakshmi didi,Mithra didi, Vidyashri didi. Total attended - 40 girls,12 teachers.

  Guru Poornima program was celebrated in our vidyalaya on Saturday ,20/7/24. Nagesh ji and Nagesh Prabhu ji addressed the importance of gurupoornima. Token of appreciation was given to all teaching and non teaching staff. Total presented - 385(320 students,45 parents,20 teachers).

  Investiture ceremony  was conducted in our vidyalaya on Monday,13/7/24.. Elected students took oath led by Sri. Nagesh ji. Guest of the program Sri. Lokesh Krishnappa ji and Sri. Ravindra ji motivated the students and addressed them to follow duties and responsibilities with the guidance of teachers. Total 42 students took oath and accepted their responsibilities.

 Vidyarambha Pooja and Aksharabhyasa   on Thursday,11/07/24. *Sri. Ganesan Subramanian, the chief guest  elaborated the need for our traditional Samskaras  to grow a child and helps to get them  ready to serve the society and nation.  *The guest's speech in English was translated in Kannada by Dr. Padma Rekha didi. *Parents and students chanted Saraswati ashtotra shatanamavali. Total attended: 175

 Workshop on " Let's  Play Exam Exam !! " conducted on Saturday ,6th July 2024 in our vidyalaya Topics covered-Goal Setting , Confidence, Concentration,  Memory , Exam Tips, Scientific Study Methods, Time Management,  Energy Conservation, Rest Cycle, Mind Mapping ,Activities,  Games and Yoga. Total attended -71( including 26 teachers and 45 students)

 General Parents teachers meeting conducted on Friday,05/07/24 in our vidyalaya. All the teachers introduced themselves. Few thechers informed about our school,rules and regulations, infrastructure and other activities. Ma.Nagesh ji addressed the parents about how every child is getting value education as well as academic education in our school.

 Nadaprabhu Kempegouda Jayanti was celebrated in our vidyalaya on Thursday,27/06/24. On this occasion we have conducted essay  writing and drawing competitions. 126 students  were participated in the competitions.

 International yoga day was conducted in our vidyalaya on 21/06/24. * 331 students participated in yoga practice. *38 students went to different schools to conduct yoga practice. *Tapovana school -180 ,GHPS,Jigani-450, Navodaya school -650 students participated in yoga practice.

 S cience workshop conducted in our vidyalaya by Xperimentor for class 6 and class 8 .
