GURUPOORNIMA : On 31st Gurupoornima was celebrated.On the importance of the day Smt. Ambika delivered a speech. Students sang bhajan on Gurumahima. Flower were offered at the holy feet of the guru Vyasa by the teachers and students. Competitions were conducted for the students from UKG -7th std on guru shlokas.
INDEPENDENCE DAY : On 150th August Independence Day was celebrated Sri Ravi kumar was the chief guest. He is a retired bank manager. He had worked in different banks in Bangalore and Pondichery. He unfurled the flag and took the Guard of Honour. Students did march past with bands. They received a great applause from the public. They also displayed different formations.

Today on 03/03/2019, Sunday 70 Participants from 6 different "Sanskara varga" went for an excursion to "Durga Betta" They started in the morning by 6:30. All the participants had a great time. A competition was held to present Sanskara Varga in which Kallubalu Sanskara Varga won the first prize.And they returned by 11 AM.
PDC started in VKV Kallubalu from 15 April 2018. 55 students from 10 schools are taking part in the 45 days summer camp. As a part of the camp students were taught Shlokas, Yoga, Patriotic songs, Stories, Games, Maths 3D magic, Gardening etc. There was an interaction based on films on freedom fighters and present social problems faced in the society. Alumni of VKV Kallubalu is taking the responsibility of conducting this camp. Few resource persons like Sri Kuldeep Somaiah, Bengalure, Sri Suhas Sen, Kolkotta, Sri Sivakumar, Jangal Palya were the resource persons to teach various subjects. As the part of the camp students were invited as resource persons to conduct 3D magic workshop in PDCs in VK Vidyaranyapuram and Rashtrottana Parishat.
Everyday programme starts at 10 am with the chanting of the shlokas chanting and songs. Ends at 7 pm with the chanting of Sri Lalita Sahasranama and Kendra Prayer.
