Annual Day Celebration

Theme : Atturing to Dharmic Narratives
Guest : Ma Nivedita Didi , Lt. Gen Raju Sir , Smt Shakuntala Raju.

Program started at 1:00 pm with lighting the lamp , aarati song was sung by VKV students. Before the program there was Sankrathi exhibition arranged , students from different states exhibited their state speciality . Ma Nivedita didi guided the gathering on narratives by giving examples of Swami Vivekananda's speeches at different countries. Lt Gen Raju sir spoke about the experinces of his army life and enlightened the students to join army

Rain Water Harvesting and Solar Panels in VKV-Kallubalu under the guidance of Er.Neel Mathew (well-wisher of Vivekananda Kendra)

               RAINWATER HARVESTING 1. Best use of the water available in the natural process: 3. 5 lakh liter of rainwater is saved in one rain. 7 open wells to collect rainwater. Not a single drop of rainwater is allowed to flow out of the campus. Alternate Energy and Space Management 17 kW peak solar panel system, which neutralizes or even produces more energy than required for the entire campus. Elevated solar panel roof serves as a cover to the hall providing a space of 26X54 feet.
