Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Kallubalu village in the out skirts of Bangalore, was started in May 2001 in Kallubalu village, to cater the educational need of around 23 villages in the vicinity.
RAINWATER HARVESTING 1. Best use of the water available in the natural process: 3. 5 lakh liter of rainwater is saved in one rain. 7 open wells to collect rainwater. Not a single drop of rainwater is allowed to flow out of the campus. Alternate Energy and Space Management 17 kW peak solar panel system, which neutralizes or even produces more energy than required for the entire campus. Elevated solar panel roof serves as a cover to the hall providing a space of 26X54 feet.
Gurupoornima celebration report *Gurupoornima program was celebrated in our vidyalaya on Thursday,10/07/25. *Sri.Punith sir,Sri.Vikas sir,Sri.Nandakishor sir and Soumya didi,1st batch students and Alumni of our vidyalaya invited as guest for the program. *They shared their experience and memories of school and told how culture of our school has helped them to shape their future. *Mesmerizing Dance , outstanding drama and shoka recitation were performed by our students. *Total attendance - 390 ( Including 25 parents, 15 staff and 350 students)
